Snowman Delivery In Boise, we have a snowman delivery service. Keith and his daughter, Liva run the family side business. He had been out of work a few years ago and came up with the idea of delivering snowmen to families around the treasure valley. Now the service is in its fifth year and going strong. It does take some work. They go out after a good snowfall and roll some snowballs and make snowmen. People enjoy seeing the snowmen packed in the back of the truck and the entire affair is enjoyed by all. The Idaho Potato Hotel At 31581 S. Orchard Access Road in Boise, you will find the Idaho Potato Hotel. It is set in the middle of farmland with a friendly Jersey cow named Dolly to meet you. It all started with the 75th celebration of the IPC (Idaho Potato Commission) in 2012. A huge steel potato was bolted to a flatbed trailer for a one-year tour. It weighs 6 tons, is 28 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 11.5 feet tall. An employee of the IPC, Kristie Wolfe, saw the potential of the huge potato and when the tour ended she bought it. She set up the interior in a lovely Millennial pink complete with a custom-built bed, air conditioning, and vintage record player and records. There is a spa-like bathroom outside and a few feet away. An evening's stay costs $242.00 with fees and tax included. It is about 20 minutes south of Boise. Check out more about it here:
