The Pinewalla elephant reserve in Sri Lanka is amazing.

In Sri Lanka elephants are very well cared for. Pinewalla elephant orphanage is a lovely place. Elephants from different parts of Sri Lanka are brought and cared in a lovely habitat. Travellers are allowed to have lunch from a place from where the scene of the mahout trainer of elephants bring them for afternoon bath in the river is visible. It is a lovely scene and lovely experience.

thanks Cheung they are mix of young and old elephants. Even orphan elephants are reared up

Yes, the sight of all the Elephants looks marvelous! It's good that they are being cared for a lot! The picture tells a lot! Overall a good share!
