One of our mylot friends Rashna spoke about the 'salam pak'. I went through the recipe on YouTube which though was in the Gujarati language I watched it as I understand Gujarati.
Making the barfi was quite tiring and gave me a back pain stirring the stuff for quite long. The labour was however worth it as the ingredients used keep you warm, booster your immunity and keeps away joint pain.
I enjoyed the barfi. Only I didn't use excess of clarified butter (ghee). We have different foods, especially sweets for winter and summer in India.

It's an Indian sweet and the ingredients are easy to get. You need milk, dehydrated milk, clarified butter, all dry fruits and some spices. You have to stir all these over slow flame in a pan or wok till it turns like a dough. Spread this dough over a greased plate are cut it into pieces after it cools down.

It needed a lot of stirring. Finding the ingredients weren't difficult.
