2 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon. Today has been busy and lazy at the same time.
I'm thankful I got up when I did this morning. I expected to go to the pool this morning, but it kept showing closed due to the holiday observance. With the weather as bad as it's expected to be the rest of the week, I'll go next Monday.
I'm thankful for the exercise group. We did the longer workout. It felt so good.
I'm thankful I have my shopping done for the month. I'll only need to go for the items I use up quickly like bananas. I bought more today. Green this time. They'll be ripe when I finish off the bananas I have left from my shopping trip on Saturday. I went to three stores and used up my FoodShare and the Insurance OTC card. I only needed a small amount from my check, so it worked out well.
I'm thankful for beginning the weight loss program again. I was before, but this time, I'm keeping track of it. When I rebooted my computer when someone hacked into my debit card, I lost all my stats, so decided to wait until now to begin keeping track again. I need to be diligent with it again as I've gained more than I want to and have a lot to lose to get back to where I was three years ago. My 2023 beginning weight is 211.4. I have 40 pounds to go. I fully intend to lose a pound a week and more if I can throughout this year.
It's a new year and a new beginning with everything.

I’m thankful that I’m escaping Disney World’s tight grip on my wallet with most of my money intact. I didn’t max out my credit cards or break the bank despite my best attempts to do so! Lol

Our granddaughter Sophie looks happy for their classes are suspended due to continuous heavy downpour. She's so thankful for the City Mayor declares till tomorrow classes are suspended due to heavy rainfalls.
