Legal Signing in Limbo

I guess today is a holiday. It being Monday and all, and the holiday, etc. So today wasn't a good day to try to get the legal signing done on my grandson's Risperdal Settlement. He got 16 pages of legal mumbo jumbo to go through and sign. It takes forever to get him off the computer when he is doing the game he is playing. He had to go through one "I'm not awake yet" and two "waking up" phases first and then he was finally ready three hours later. Really! I guess it is called procrastination (and medication grogginess. I do get so ancy when there are things to get done. I had read through it first. After an eon of legal stuff, he gets to the notarizing part for legal signature purposes and it says to wait. So he waits, and waits, and waits, and waits....em]cheering[/em]and, yeah, he waits. He ended up waiting for 45 minutes just to be sure. The notary was a no-show. Tomorrow we will make another attempt. I wanted to get it done today because there are certain dated parts that have to be done in a certain amount of time. I think that the remainder(of the 6-digit number) is going to go to Health & Welfare anyway after the $$ that goes to the legal firm that is. Not sure yet how to get legal answers on that so that will be another headache. Tomorrow is another day.
