It is not just ability to read and write. But right education is also the ability to think deeply and clearly. Thus, education is about ability to read, write and think. The one who lacks the think ability is also uneducated. Therefore I always appreciate research abilities or basic research skills being taught in schools at a very young age say 10 years.

Education is a lot more than this. Education include the development of understanding, rationality, kindness, honesty, knowing what we want and how to achieve our goals in life.

@Aakk77 If someone has no ability to think he can do nothing in life.

@LadyDuck Yes! But still many don’t think about many things - and - Accept it or Reject it. Which is a sad scenario.

Only he can understand the importance of these valuable virtues enlisted by you rightly, only he, who can think rightly. They who cannot think cannot understand, they only memorise. They who cannot think can follow a rational or irrational person or belief but cannot be rational always. You must think of world as one home to be kind. If you think otherwise you are either forced or are a follower alone but not originally kind. You can be honest only if you think that’s the right way to live.

Yes! It is the key part - to think - but students I have seen haven’t learnt it enough! Or is it that it is not taught enough?
