It's been awhile since I updated. That's because the loss of pounds is slowing down, and for good reason. I've probably lost as much as I possibly can at my age. Also, Christmas treats are present in the house. However, I have returned to walking the treadmill taking it easy though.
My daughter has complained about the leggings I wear. Leggings are supposed to fit like skin but mine have become saggy. She has gone so far as calling me "chicken legs". She bought me a new pair for Christmas. I bought my other daughter a pair of shorts that she said she wouldn't wear. I said I would but forgot they are size SMALL. Um, yup, they fit.
I've dug old jeans out of the cupboard and I still need to wear a belt with them. I'm going on vacation this weekend. Yesterday I tried on my bathing suits. Unfortunately one I really like is too big.
So at the beginning of April I started intermittent fasting - stop eating after 7pm, start eating at 1pm. It's a very short window of eating but it sure as heck has worked! And now that I'm now to a weight that I never thought achievable (less than I weighed in high school!!!!) I will have the occasional little nibble at night, but try not to because it's about the fasting and the metabolism, not about eating less (though that can't hurt either).
So, I believe I was 153 pounds when I started on this journey nine months ago and now weigh 126 pounds. I love the way I look. I DO NOT want to put that weight back on so I will continue to do this. I may move my cut off time to 8pm.
Now if I could just find some success with my writing.

@RebeccasFarm Having been on vacation the last week at an all inclusive resort, I'm guessing I gained a few pounds back. So I'm going to have to go strict again for a couple of weeks. Won't be getting on the scale again until I feel comfortable.
