I canceled my subscription to Peacock and it will go into effect on January 26th. So between now and then, I am watching as much on Peacock as I can. Tonight I found one called "Mermaid Down". It is about a mermaid and what happens to her after she is caught in the net of two sadistic fishermen. No actors in it that I know. Starts out gorey. I think this movie is very realistic as to what would logically happen if a mermaid were caught.

It was gory and, I wouldn't recommend it. I decided not to start watching Yellowstone.

That sounds like an animated movie we have here in the US.

@celticeagle Nope, it's not animated. It's a movie with human as actor and actress.

If I was a fisherman and got a mermaid instead, I would curse. Guess I would let the mermaid go and beg her not to be around my area of fishing again, ever! (It would be a nuisance wouldn't it?)

The fisherman was a jerk. I would help her in every way I could. What a rarity to find.

@celticeagle I think the gist of that mermaid story is to conclude, 'men are fickle at heart'
quite a number of men happen to be immature unfortunately (even at the age of 70! Afterwards, they begin to lose their marbles, so

@YrNemo ...........It goes a bit further than that but, yeah pretty much right on that assessment. The psychiatrist needs one himself.
