A hole in the sky?

We had an interesting sunrise on Saturday. The sun was rising and there seemed to be a hole in the slightly cloudy sky above it. I could see sun rays spread out through this apparent gap! Maybe it's a gap through which an alien ship is gonna land. Nature makes my imagination run wild!
