I enjoyed the Indo Bangladesh round table in EZCC

Judges and lawyers from India and Bangladesh met together in a Round Table in EZCC Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre in Salt Lake Calcutta. I was part of the Indian lawyers and judges. It was really healthy discussion. India has so many high courts and the highest appellate authority is the Supreme Court. But in Bangladesh the High Court Appellate Bench is the highest Court of Appeal. The interaction was very interesting.

@sathviksouvik That's what I thought. I see you have as many female lawyers and court officials as males. I like that.

@RubyHawk thanks Ruby in India there is no gender discrimination. As many number of female lawyers are there as are the male lawyers.

thanks Cheung basically India has many ties with the neighbouring country Bangladesh. The judges and lawyers discussed the different mechanism of courts in both the countries

thanks Valerie both the countries speak the language bengali. While India has many languages like hindi, marathi, tamil, bangladesh has only one language bengali. Ofcourse the medium of exchange is English
