Party - kids will be kids

As a finale to the party I had this programme where all would be blowing those whistling balloons and release them before they burst giving out a whistle.
One of my capable nieces was assigned this task of explaining how it would work and she even told them instead of crackers we would hear the whistling sounds these balloons would make. They were told that they would have to just blow them enough and then release for the sound to appear
But no. Most blew them till their burst.
Now you know why I say kids will be kids!!!

They had enough big balloons to burst and now they do not have that whistle balloon to blow the whistle. I still have mine and I occasionally blow and release and I like that sound

@allknowing What a shame they wasted those balloons.

@LadyDuck I should have intervened I think. Those balloons can be used forever if one is careful

I guess you are right. Managing kids can still be very challenging, especially when done in large groups. Giving instructions needs a loud voice to be heard and followed.
My wife is like that being a grade school teacher. She really needs to raise her voice so that students would hear her and follow her.

There was a mike that my niece was using and it was loud enough They had this preconceived notion that balloons are for blowing to their limit (lol) I still have whistle balloon and I blow it occasionally.

@allknowing I can imagine but I think there are kids that just would not easily follow instruction and do what they want.

We wanted neat sounding whistles
But what mattered however was kids thoroughly enjoyed doing what they did
