Keeps on pouring

Our City Mayor suspended all classes both in public and private this morning due to heavy rains brought by a bad weather.
According to our weather agency, PAGASA, these heavy downpour is brought by a low-pressure area. When it's being intensified, it will develop a typhoon.
Pagasa warns water vessels to stay off on shore. Fishermen are also advised not to go fishing on sea.
Our country is always visited by typhoon in various winds strength. We usually have more than 20 typhoons every year.

California is flooding really bad. I am getting rain here too. I guess wet is how we are doing.

@Nakitakona ........They have been getting rain for days. Drainage helps but when it is so much it doesn't anymore.

@celticeagle ours is worse. Now the city engineers office workmen are clearing the blocked drainage.

How come? I think you have a good drainage system compared to us. Just an hour of continuous raining, the city street is flooding.

@Nakitakona Now, that's an excellent question. My guess is global warming. Yes, it's winter. It's a roller coaster between warm and cold weather. We're expecting snow again next Thursday. We'll see how that plays out.

@just4him No wonder. Our weather seems to be weird due to this so-called climate change. Before we seldom have a super typhoon. Now it's frequent.

It is winter here and alternates between having a comfortable day with rain and a cold day with snow. It's always changing. It's usually cold all winter; but climate change has given us quite a few warm days. Stay safe.

It's winter here. Last summer, we also sent water here. We also suffered from snow disaster last winter. The weather in the last two years is very strange. We are a perennial dry area, but now the weather is abnormal.

@Nakitakona Our city is adjacent to the desert. It is windy and dry. I think it is related to climate change. Global warming, abnormal weather

same here. Non stop rain all day, just glad it is slows down to a drizzle every now and then
