A resident of Gwinnett County Georgia whose name was not released to the public is very grateful that Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office Deputy Corporal Linsey Meador who was off the clock in his home on Wednesday when his neighbor began knocking on his front door asking him to assist her to revive her infant whose name and gender were not mentioned. Corporal Meador ran to the home of his neighbor and immediately proceeded to use his life saving skills to revive the infant who stopped breathing. The cause of the infant passing out inside the home of was likely caused either a heart attack or choking on food. The good news is that the infant made a full recovery from the child's near death experience. To make this story even better, Corporal Meador was given by his superiors the Lifesaving Award for doing his duty to keep his word to serve and protect his community.

Even though I am not a dad myself, just hearing stories of children not being able to breathe is scary.

Congratulations to the officer. That was an act of heroism. Having the skills to apply first aid to people is good when this kind of event arises.
