I WAS going to go to the little Tesco today....

I got up this morning at 8:00am with the sincere intention of going to the little Tesco.
But then I came into the living room and heard a weather report which said it was frosty (which I could see by looking out of the window) and blistering cold. I had my breakfast and while I was eating it my Mum asked me if I was going to the little Tesco today. I said, well that's why I got up early but now I don't know. Because I'm still not 100% and it's really cold out.
So Mum is going to go, maybe today if it warms up later, or if not she'll go tomorrow. Either that or we'll try and get what we would have got today from the big Tesco tomorrow instead.
I've put out some butternut squash chunks to thaw for today's soup. I forgot again and only remembered when I was making myself a cup of green tea! I hope it's all thawed for when I come to make the soup. I'm also running out of frozen diced onion so I hope they have some at the big Tesco when we go tomorrow afternoon.
I hope you are all well.
Have a nice day.

I'm hoping to go to the big Tesco as usual tomorrow as long as I'm feeling up to it. If it wasn't for this cold I might have gone out but I'm just still not 100% yet.

@sharonelton Freezing here too with snow. I went for my 8 kilometre walk through the forest and along by the river. Many opportunities there were for slipping on iced-over puddles, but I retained my dignity and remained vertical. I always feel wonderful after such a walk.

Still rather cold here. 8km is a long way. I wouldn't want to walk that far! I hope you enjoyed the view as you were walking. I wouldn't want to walk when it's snowy or icy either and iced-over puddles do not sound good. I'm glad you retained your dignity and remained vertical! I'm glad you feel wonderful after such a walk.

Yes, a bit of sunshine here too. I think it's melting the frost so that's good.
I prefer to defrost things naturally where absolutely possible.

And also the fact that I was still feeling unwell. I didn't want to go out in the cold when I was still feeling unwell.

@DianneN Thank you. It was the best thing to do. I'm feeling a lot better now. I went to Church on Sunday as you will be able to see from my latest post.
