Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too. Recently, there were 2-3 cases in Surat of illegal activities happening in such couple boxes like making obscene videos and people doing drugs. The Surat police Commissioner has thus circulated the notice to all Restaurants, Cafes and Hotels to ban the "couple boxes". The notice also mentions that people should be able to be seen from distance and CCTV cameras to be installed as well. I personally feel that it's a good initiative but at the same time feel bad as people should themselves take responsibility to act in civil manner in society. I just hope that this initiative helps the police in maintaining law and order thereby stopping such cases to happen. Let me know your thoughts about it. Have a good day!! Take care!!

I think the people of the Indian society are losing their sense of decency. Cafes and restaurants should have understood that much before police taking action.

@aninditasen. Glad to know your thoughts. I believe people have this mindset of just running the business, they don't pay attention about societal responsibilities

@aninditasen True indeed. Awareness programs are being run but how effective it's results are is unknown. People should themselves take responsibility for their behaviour then such issues won't arise

Such activities and crime is on rise in many places. Not good for law and order, Women safety as well as overall reputation of India abroad. So well, sometimes, police and administration have to take such steps.

True indeed. I agree. It's good that police over here is taking action as in many places, police don't take any such actions of law enforcement

It's a shame that people can't behave properly when they're out in public.

True indeed. People should learn from their home how to be civil in public places

There was a public outrage when it was found that a restaurant near our town was running obscene activities. People pelted stones and broke its glass windows.

Oh ok. I don't think that's the solution to it by doing violence as nothing good comes out of it. This is the only way in many places people react by participating in destroying things rather than do something about it in different manner
