Do you think animals or birds should be kept in Zoo or in their Natural Habitat??!!

Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good in life, personal as well as professional. I am doing well too.
I was wondering today about this. I believe that Birds and Animals would like to live in Natural Habitat as nature is their Home.
I don't like this concept of Zoos that much. In other countries, Zoos are well maintained with good staff taking proper care of Birds and Animals. A lot of nature is created in the Zoos where they roam around freely.
The condition of Zoos in India isn't good at many places. The space given to them is small, as well as many times cruel activities are done like beating animals by caretakers if they don't perform in the shows.
It's my belief that Birds and Animals shouldn't be confined to this cages in Zoo. People come to see them by buying tickets.
Can we imagine ourselves in their place wherein we are confined to such space and someone comes to watch us everyday, it sounds so inhumane right? I strongly feel they would be happy in their Natural Habitats than the Zoos.
Let me know your thoughts about it. Have a good day!! Take care!!

Natural habitat is the best but I've been able to see animals I never would have if we didn't have a zoo.

Zoos are fine if the animals are in a natural habitat and well cared for. Recently a tiger escaped from a zoo in Texas in the USA. They had to close the zoo and look for it most of the day. They found it and returned it to the enclosure with another tiger that lived there. Zoo keepers do a headcount twice a day and check on the welfare of each animal there.
