21 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a very good day.
I'm thankful for the sleep I got today, along with the nap.
I'm thankful I didn't need to use the walker today and got all my steps. I set the pedometer goal back to 5000 with my back problem and I did that with ease.
I'm thankful that each time I walked the hall was faster than the time before. I did four rounds of the hallway.
I'm thankful for a friend here who gave me a ride to the store for potatoes and bananas. Being out of bananas for three days wasn't fun. Though I did eat up most of my other fruit. I only have half a bag of apples left. Walking in the store also helped me get my remaining steps. It also showed me the extent of my ability to walk as much as I did today.
I'm thankful I didn't need the pain medication today.
I'm thankful I could load and unload the dishwasher without any strain on my back. I have clean dishes again.
That's my day. I also opened two books to work on them, but soon closed them. It wasn't time to work on them.

Sucks you have a bad back, but it's good you're able to walk okay.
I am thankful that today went well and Chilly didn't flea when it rained.

Enjoy sunbathing. I'm glad you don't have snow in Indonesia. I think it would make worldwide headlines if you would get snow.

I'm thankful for my two children, and the wonderful relationship I have with them. My daughter lives with me since she's in grad school at the University of Florida, but my son is 4 hours away in south Florida working as an electrician. So I'm also thankful for technology that allows me to see and talk to him anytime I want.

I wasn't thankful for the period pains I was having Friday and Saturday. But I was thankful on Sunday that my pain was gone and I got to go to the grocery store. Not thankful for the price tag though. But I am thankful that I got some vitamins that I think will help me calm down during my doctor visits.
