Our Boys Played with Heart

Sadly, they were outmatched by the opposing team. On average, the other team was a head taller and a year older than our guys. The school we played is able to field two teams at each level and the team we played today was all sixth graders. Our boys are mostly fourth and fifth graders with only a couple of sixth graders on the squad.
Still, our team played with heart and spirit and never gave up. They played hard right up to the buzzer despite a 36-point deficit at the start of the 4th quarter.
I'm sure I'll get an earful from them on Monday morning.
Upon coming home, I wasn't able to do much painting. We had a 4-foot extension for our paint roller but needed one at least 8 feet long. I ordered one and should be able to finish next week.
I didn't get any writing done today, but I did make a video to use to promote my Buzby Beach books. The video needs some refinement yet, but I have enjoyed learning how to put it together.
How was your day?

@DWDavis Speed also and they say that it all sports you can not teach speed, where I gave up. I can lift weights I can study but that dude so quick but outside that its a learning sport like no other and you better stay humble because it will teach you.

Sorry about the game. It always hurts when the team is outmatched.
