Ow...Good Morning, myLot!

Photo I took of my goofy band aids

Last night I fell in the bathroom and I think I banged my cheekbone on the sink counter as I went down. Wouldn't stop bleeding for several minutes---I had to change the band aids once. The "kid design" bandaids are the only ones I have that will stick--the others are plain cheapo "not stick very well" ones. I've since wiped off the dry blood that I saw on my face/ear after I took the picture. My right arm hurts, too--plus I tried to break my fall by grabbing onto the towel rack and of course ripped it off the wall. I'll be calling maintenance tomorrow. Oi...so that's how my week started. I am thankful that I don't work tomorrow. Church this morning, then home to take it easy for sure. Have a great morning/afternoon/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land, and I will "see" you all later!

I am sorry that you took such a tumble. I can believe that children's bandages stick better, kids seem to move alot and do not always want to stop to have a new one applied. I find that the regular ones that we have are very flimsy and thin.

Plus I'm thinking it's the brand. The kid band-aids I have actually are Band-Aid brand. The other ones are...?

@xstitcher We have brand name adult ones here and they are very thin, not sticky and non absorbent.

I'm glad nothing worse happened. Bathrooms are super dangerous places.

I wish you a very speedy recovery from your injury. I try my best to watch my step when I get out of the shower since I have fear of slipping on the floor.

Ow! Why did you fall? Did you trip or did you feel faint? As a fellow faller for no good reason, I feel your pain. Take care.

@xstitcher I've become unbalanced doing that, too.

Well, I had my foot up on the toilet seat trying to trim my toenails (as I've done for years) and suddenly lost my balance. Guess I can't do it that way anymore.

Well, I'm sore, particularly on my right side--the side my "owie" is on. Thanking God that it wasn't worse.
