I went to Church yesterday.

Yesterday I went to Church for the first time since Christmas! There wasn't a service on 1 Jan, and then the following two weeks I had my stinking cold! There was some frost on the ground so I wore my boots. I also took some soothers with me incase I coughed. I also wore my gloves. I got there and took my gloves off. The lady had got a proper mug ready for me. When I was waiting for my tea to brew I was listening to a couple talking about how she has an app on her phone where you should be able to unlock your car from your app or something but she didn't pay for the upgrade so she can't unlock her car from her app. Her husband was saying why don't you just pay for the upgrade? They were having a friendly tiff about it and me and the lady serving drinks were laughing! I went and sat down and drank my tea. Then when I finished I went and took the mug back to the desk at the back. As I was going back to my seat I saw Marty Smith. (Her husband, John Smith, was the one who died just before Christmas.) We had a nice hug and Marty said, Oh, I'm glad you've come! I'm glad you're cold's better. Then she said she enjoys receiving the little emoji's from me on Facebook messenger. (She meant the "stickers") She said they always cheer her up, and if she doesn't receive any she thinks something's wrong! I went and sat back down again. People asked me if my Mum was coming and I said yes. But she was late. My Mum's friend Frances said that my Mum's other friend Dawn was going to go and fetch her. But a few minutes later, about 10 minutes after the service had started, Mum turned up. She said my step-dad had had to scrape the frost off the car. I told her that Frances had said Dawn was going to go and fetch her, but Mum said she hadn't seen Dawn at all. I said you must have passed en route. We sang some songs and had a prayer time. Then a guy called Mark preached on What Kind Of Man Is This? He asked the question who do you think Jesus is? And he gave some statistics of what people said when asked Who do you think Jesus is? He also talked about a YouTube video which he couldn't show because of copyright issues around showing and broadcasting. (The service was being live streamed to YouTube itself.) The YouTube video is called "That's My King." You can search for it yourself on YouTube if you like. After that we sang another song, and then the service was over. Afterwards I had another hug off Marty and she said I was looking good. Mum had a hug off her too. Then I went home. When I got home I put my Sam Ryder CD on and made my dinner. When I'd had my dinner and a cup of green tea, and while my Mum and step-dad were still eating their dinners, I went upstairs and had a bath. I like to soak in it for an hour! After I'd had my bath I came downstairs and washed up. (After I'd put my clothes back on ofcause! ) This morning when I looked at my e-mails I saw an e-mail that said I'd had a parcel delivered but the e-mail had been sent yesterday! I looked outside the front door but I couldn't see a parcel. I looked outside the back door (which technically is actually the side door) and there was a parcel on the white thing round the side which my Mum tells me is the gas meter! It must have been there all night and part of Sunday too. I don't know exactly how long it had been there! I said as much to my Mum. Last Thursday a plummer was supposed to come to sort out our upstairs loo flusher. But he phoned to say there'd been an emergency and they had to cancel. The plummer is now due today between 9:00am and 1:00pm and it's 11:40am already and he's still not here! I hope he comes soon! I want to do some laundry! What are you all up to today?
