Arby's Fan Gets a Pleasant Surprise

With all the hatred and ugliness in the country today it makes a person wonder and we need more stories like this one: In Arizona, there is an Arby's location that has a customer who has been coming in each and every day for about two years now. His name is Doug, he's 97 years old and he is a veteran. Every day he drives into the parking lot and uses a walker to walk into the restaurant. He orders the same sandwich, a beef slider with Swiss cheese, and a coke. The employees of the Arby's have gotten to know him and fondly call him Mr. Doug. He had remarked to them that they were like his family. The employees were curious and determined to find out all they could about this man. Come to find out that he lives at an Elderly Nursing home. He ordered the same sandwich because it was the only one that didn't upset his stomach. His usual way was to check the sack each time when he received his order. One particular time recently there was something else clinking around in the sack. When He opened the sack and looked in he was so surprised. The employees had gone in together and gotten a $200 gift card for him. As time went on the Arby company found out about this special customer. They made sure he had an Arby hat and a nice jacket.
