I found the series on Plex and have started watching it. I used to be a huge fan when it was on prime-time tv. It was originally on from 1972- 1975. I watched it faithfully each week. It is the story of Shaolin Monk Kwai Chang Caine(portrayed by David Carradine) and his adventures while coming up the ranks to manhood. There are flashbacks of him as a young boy first learning the ways of the Shaolin Monk. He travels around the Wild West and the trouble he tends to run into. He is a martial arts expert and this gets him out of most scrapes.
David Carradine is a favorite of mine and always seems to be in a good show. His younger brother(Keith) is in the show sometimes, usually only as an extra. I like the whole family. Their dad(John) was a great actor I enjoyed a lot.
**Interesting Fact**David Carradine had no training in martial arts before getting the role of Caine. Bruce Lee was especially put out by this since he was turned down for the role.

Oh, yes. His brother and a couple of nieces. Of course, his father started the whole thing.

David Carradine is one of my movie characters. I have watched his Kung Fu movie and some cowboy films.
