A white butterfly

I'm so happy to see a small white butterfly enter my store this morning. I don't see butterflies often now. Usually I see them in the garden 1 or 2 and sometimes it is color yellow.
It suddenly come inside my store. I feel so happy to see the butterfly. I search online if they mean something and the meaning is good. I hope it is a sign of good luck to me.

Here the small white ones are cabbage moths which attack our vegetable plants.

Some cultures would say that one of your ancestors came visiting you. 
When I was in a boarding home, we used to chase butterflies (whatever their colours) away from our cabbage, broccoli, Chinese cabbage plants etc. Their presence = catepillars = lost of lofs of veggies soon

I believe that is true. I also see them often before. I didn't know they are bad for vegetables
