27 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

I'm glad I didn't plan to go to the pool today. It snowed pretty good this morning. I'll be checking out the weather in a bit to see if we got what they expected or more. It looks like more than half an inch to me on top of what was still there. So, today has been a good day. I got up at my usual time, 2 AM. Again, I planned to sleep in, but the snow plow people were here at two, an hour earlier than they usually are, so it was time to get up. I'm thankful for what I accomplished today. I found my back brace in the storage closet without having to take out every box and tear the closet apart looking for it. It was in the front box almost on top of the box. I'm thankful I got my Bible study done and my games before I went down to the exercise group, that I wasn't supposed to go to. I found that out when I got upstairs and I was doing my steps around the hallway. My therapist called to remind me I had an appointment this morning. Oops. I looked at that sheet three times this week and could have sworn it was for next Friday. Oh well, she understood and with the snow this morning, it was best to stay home anyway. I didn't want to think about a repeat of yesterday. I'm thankful for the exercise group. We did the longer tape and I found even with my back brace, it was easy to do. It's the sitting one. It's a great workout, working on all the muscle groups. I'm thankful I got two books worked on this morning. When I finish this edit, I'll start the publishing process and the final edit of both books. Where Eagles Soar and Destination Love. I'm thankful I have all my steps completed for today. The rest is gravy. I'm thankful for the snow. It always puts a smile on my face. I'm thankful the inspection didn't take long today. He stepped inside the door, looked around, and stepped back out. I'm thankful the maintenance man put a new bulb in my ceiling fan in the dining area. I'm thankful I have all the notifications finished and could spend time with you today. You guys are great and always make my day. Okay, that's my day and what I'm thankful for. Time to get those exercises done and then veg out in front of the TV. What are you thankful for today?
