A rancher in San Luis Obispo California was taking his horse across a muddy creek on Wednesday afternoon when the horse got stuck between a willow tree and a cactus when the horse began to sink into the muddy creek. The rancher who did not give out his name called 911 to ask for help to get his horse out of trouble. Firefighters from San Luis Obispo came to the creek located in Arroyo Grande the same day where they used a tranquilizer gun to put the horse to sleep while they used an electric saw to remove the willow tree from the horse. Then the firefighters used shovels to remove the horse from the muddy creek which took about 30 minutes. The horse is now okay and has been reunited with his owner. Poor old horse, That had to be painful. He must have stepped in quick sand.

The horse most stepped in quicksand even though it was never mentioned what caused the horse to sink into the mud.

@RubyHawk It was likely deep water mixed with mud.

@Deepizzaguy I think the horse could have gotten out unless it was quicksand, but maybe it was just deep water.

Poor horse, if it hadn't been rescued, they would put it to sleep for sure.

That is what was likely to happen that the horse would have passed away.
