I don´t have an air fryer and after eating the food that my best friend cooks using her, I won´t buy one. I prefer to eat only a few times some food but doing it the usual way than to bake them instead of frying them. I specially hate French fried potatoes cooked there.

@marguicha
You think the same my friend. I bought one and the day after brought it back to the store. I prefer to eat fried food only once in a while, but the real thing.

Most people who are used to frying their food with oil will rarely appreciate food cooked in air fryer.

Oh yes I agree with you... It's also healthier to cook food in air fryer.

@MGjhaud That's true, like there are foods that are enhanced with oil.

@LadyDuck Yes I know but the store insisted.in calling it ham lol. I didn't argue anymore it's their chef's version of ham .

That's how I see it it's bacon but the store says it's ham lol. It's not the same as the conventional ham.

I think air fryers are super handy. I even have some parchment liners made specially for the air fryer basket, which makes cleanup even easier.

@florelway I think of it more as a small convection oven than a fryer, even though it's called an "air fryer".

@spiderdust Yes they said it's more like that. I haven't had experience with a convection oven.

I also find it convenient to use and tine saving. Some do not like the taste but for those wanting to avoid fried food this is best.

We don't have an air fryer. That looks like bacon on the plate.

It's what most people's opinion too. Maybe for marketing purposes ham is saleable during Christmas. Afterall it's still taken from pork's.leg lol

@cacay1 yes, actually we use this to cook french fries. We have a boarder before who prefers her fries cook in air fryer because she cannot eat fried food due to her gallstones issues.

@florelway I know, but I rarely eat fried food. I used it to make Brussel sprouts and to toast a piece of bread

It's an alternative to fried food where you can fry without frying.

Some do not like cooking in an air fryer because the food lacks taste but if the food is too oily this is good.
