Busier than I thought I'd be

I watched the neighbor's puppy for several hours this morning while she was out to breakfast and at the gym. He is now home with his owner. My downstairs neighbor's son just called me to ask for a ride to a park in town. She is out somewhere but can't drive as she just had shoulder surgery. I told him I would take him as long as his mother texted me to tell me that she was okay with it. Soooo I'm waiting to hear back from his mom. He doesn't want to go until like 2 pm so there is time. I clearly have no life but the lives of other neighbors are keeping me busy today.
