I love this word. Yeah, I'm still listening to music. Danny's Song by Loggins and Messina is on right now. I went to one of their concerts. Great sound.
But, it reminded me of peaceful days. I was a hippie chick in my teens. (that's about 13 thru 17) and enjoyed my old 'pegged' hippy jeans, listening to music, and smoking weed. I remember one party I went to. The hosts had soaked some weed in wood alcohol and buried it. (This was a fad going around during this time period) I smoked just a little and ended up in a comfortable chair for about 6 hours.
On occasional summer evenings(many spent at my girlfriend BL's house)BL and I would set in her open bedroom window with the radio playing. Casey Kasem was on playing the top hits for that week. We also had a request line that the local Hawkin's Drive-In (hamburger place) put on where we could call in( or write in ahead of time) our requests to hear our favorite tunes.
Sometimes her boyfriend RW would show up and take us for a ride somewhere in his Ford Mustang. We would often go to the old military cemetery and see what we could scare up. He liked to scare us with tales of Hatchet Man.
Picture is from my personal collection of peace signs.

@celticeagle are they very different? The ones around here the bodies are 6 feet under ground. Where I went in Maryland they aren’t dug that deep you can see the cement covers to the caskets on the ground. It was kind of eerie I thought.

@shaggin .........I wouldn't care for those in Maryland. In New Orleans, they are mostly crypts and are above the ground.
