Bher Fruit stew is ready

It did not take long to make the stew and it is now ready. Since the fruits were fresh and some not fully ripe the stew has a slight bitter taste which I did not expect although the partially ripe fruit did taste a bit bitter and I liked that slight bitterness Just as there is a trend to mix spicy and sweet combinations I wonder there will be recipes where bitterness would also be there Have you tasted anything that is spicy, sweet and bitter as well?

Bitter gourd tastes bitter but when it is prepared adding jaggery it becomes tasty

There is a Dominican hot sauce that is spicy, sweet and bitter "agrio de naranja". Bitter oranges, Scotch bonnet hot peppers, garlic, salt and sugar.

@allknowing Dark chocolate is not "spicy", they sell dark chocolate with pieces of hot chili peppers. I tried, a bit too hot.

I tasted ugadi pickle which has all taste in it . I don't like bitterness,where there are many fans for bitter gourd
