Maid of the Mist - Niagara Falls

Looking back at the time when we wore those blue rain coats and got closer to the Niagara Falls just to get those mist drops on us makes me wonder how childish we all were. No doubt visiting Niagara Falls was an event that needs to be remembered but getting on a ferry wearing those blue coats to have a close view of the falls and have that mist on us I do not know what I can call it But while there we do what our tour conductors suggest On the Canadian side we wore yellow rain coats and went behind the falls - thanks to the Tour Conductors plans Have you taken full advantage of what is lined up for you by tour conductors?

Oh, the thing we missed out on when we were there. There were no trips because the river was still partially frozen even though it was still April. But when I witnessed that magnificent fall, I was simply awestruck by its size.

@allknowing Yes they said the view was better on that side but we were unable to do that anymore though. Hopefully, when we get the chance to travel back again we might be able to do that.

Every one should go there before they kick the bucket. The Canadian side has more adventure.

Niagara Falls is one of the most well-known falls in the world. I have seen its photos in winter and the freezing way is quite amazing.

The sound it makes when it is not frozen is too loud and non stop.

I did not go, but I was supposed to go there with a love interest of mine when I lived in Rome, NY. But sadly it was not to be so no Niagara for me.

This happens. I was planning on a trip to Alaska but they did not get enough members to form a group And that has remained a dream.

It is just like how tourists see more of India than we do

I usually do, just for safety reasons. The last waterfall I happened to get close to was in Venezuela. Our guide made us hold hands and walked us under a huge waterfall at the edge of a cliff. I couldn't breathe due to the force of the water, nor could I see where I was going. The guide held one hand and hubs, the other. It was so scary, but I had to trust the guide more than my husband

I loved the walk behind the falls best of all of the views. The sound of the water and being so close to it and see it thundering down was amazing.

We visited places in India and didn't need a tour guide.
