The police in Dallas Texas were called to an abandoned home in Lancaster Texas after they received a tip from a concerned person who saw two tamarin monkeys who were stolen from a person who visited the Dallas zoo recently. The two tamarin monkeys were found on Tuesday night inside of a closet in an abandoned home by the investigators. Both the Lancaster and Dallas Police Department found the missing monkey inside of the abandoned home and they took the missing monkeys back to the Dallas zoo safe and sound. The missing monkeys were reported missing by the officials of the Dallas Zoo on Monday evening. Thanks to a surveillance video inside of the zoo, a man who was inside the zoo allegedly kidnapped the monkeys and took them to an abandoned home. It is a shame that someone would stoop so low and start to break the fences in the zoo so animals could escape. Link is https://upi.com/4401675175212 via @upi.com

Oh my goodness. I read the story when these monkeys were stolen. And for what, nothing. Glad they were found safe.

Those poor babies. I read about them, and am so glad they were found. Too many sick people in our world.

I wonder why he stole the monkeys and then left the poor monkeys to starve. That's a puzzler.

I guess some criminals do not care who they hurt when they kidnap an animal from a zoo these days.

Wow! Tamarin monkeys! Isn't that species considered as endangered?

That is a good question whether the Tamarin monkey is an endangered species or not..

@Deepizzaguy But whether it is or not, we shouldn't wait for them to extinct like dodo. Save the nature, save the animals too.

How was he able to kidnap them in the first place. I thought they may have torn his head off. What a fool.

I guess some persons are willing to die stealing animals from their homes in the zoo.

I am in agreement with you since in Texas they do not coddle criminals who commit these kinds of crimes.

Good grief! I heard about the missing monkey on the news, but not that they had been found (or WHERE they were found)! Thank goodness this story had a happy ending.
