I am not able to sleep well these days

This is happening from few weeks now that I am not able to sleep well. I wake up several times in the night. I always wake up at night but I use to also sleep once I had some water and used the restroom etc. but it’s been few weeks where once I wake up in midnight I can’t fall back asleep and I feel very tired with all the thoughts. My brain is never at rest. I do have a lot going up in my life lately and I am struggling to keep up sane. Anyone feels the same when they are stressed?

Thank you Judy. My heart says I need to go out for a small vacation to just eat well and take all the sleep I need and some fresh air. The place I live gets so crowded with so many people returning home from work and vice versa. So 24 hours there are cars and buses here. Sadly I also live nearby a gas station which is another added pain This is the reason I feel so tired

If you're surrounded by a lot of uncontrollable distractions, put on your headphones and try listening to something you like rather than something that bothers you. Maybe that helps. I hope you get some rest soon.

It happens at times to me too .Try to listen music to divert the thoughts .

Stress can really do a number on sleep. I am going through that myself at the present time. I was trying to conform to a normal sleep time and pattern, it just didn't work for me. So, I tried just sleeping when I could, it seems to be working better for me to wait until I am really, really tired out, in body and mind. I know I have friends and family who are currently going through the same. I hope it improves for you soon.

Try to relax yourself and think for the opposite side. Sometimes having high pressure will lead to sleepless.

when I have trouble sleeping, when I'm in bed I try to focus my mind on my own body, my sleeping position and try to forget everything outside of that. I don't know, but it works to me
