It is the first match of a 4 match Cricket Test Match Series called as Border Gavaskar Trophy.
After getting Aussies out at a score of 177 runs, India is now in a commanding position at 321 for 7.
The key run scorers have been the skipper and centurion Rohit Sharma - 120 runs.
R.Jadeja with 66 and Axar Patel with 52.
For Aussies, Todd Murphy stamped hus name at his debut with a 5 wicket haul.
From here, Australia would have to do something spectacular to get back into the match.

Yes I checked that post.
Australia's First Class and even lower grade Cricket matches are highly competitive.
Then there is Big Bash which is also popular.

I hope that Liam gets good recognition going forward.
Aussies lost the Test match by an Innings and 132 runs.
In fact, even though India won, a lot of joy was lost due to one sidedness of the match.

Even though US has a cricket team, Cricket didn't catch as much popularity in US as say in Netherlands and Ireland.
Former British colonies are the most active in this Sport.
