I hope
You see
The mountain
In front of you
The battle
You are about
To face
The mountain
You are about
To climb
It takes
Faith
And a whole
Lot of hope.
I hope
You see the
Hand reaching
Out to help you
The arms wrapped around
You in a hug
A gift of compassion
A friendship
A hand to hold
When the road is
Rocky.
I hope
You
See that
A hand guides you
Teaching you
To weather the storms
When the sea
Gets rocky
And your boat
Gets knocker off
Course.

Hope connects us to faith, I think.
Life has hope when it has faith, and from both hope and faith live love.
Love needs a soil of hope and faith to prosper in as when weeds of despair grow up around love, hope and faith no longer are there to sustain you in your loving.
