Friday Night Date Night

Every Friday night my husband and I go out to dinner at a local restaurant. We only have 3 near us, and they are working on one of the entryways to our community so have it closed off. We have to drive an extra 20 minutes just to get out the gate now.
So last night we just stayed in our community and had dinner at the restaurant there. It was really delicious. My husband and I split a wedge salad. Then I had a salmon sandwich on a croissant with lettuce and tomato and a special sauce. For a side, I chose cole slaw, although I really wanted sweet potato fries, the cole slaw is healthier. My husband had something called brick chicken, with mashed potatoes and greens. Then for dessert, we split a piece of chocolate mousse cake.
The whole meal was yummy and they have a new chef to thank for that. I can't wait to go back again and try the pasta with mushroom sauce. What have you eaten out lately that you really enjoyed?

I bet that was fun together. My doctor told me to stay home until my surgery next Thursday. They've had four patients reschedule because of covid.

We don't really eat out to place that often, we didn't get some panda express this week though, so that was a rare thing!
That Pasta with mushroom sauces seems like a really delicious thing to go back for! Glad you had a good experience!

I have not eaten out lately, but we did order some Chinese on UberEats and it was very tasty.
