Rabbi Artov Breshnev, was talking to his Torah students about how God provides us with exactly what we need to live our life for him, nothing more, and nothing less. The Rabbi then said: "As such, God ensures that we are supplied with all of the talents, intelligence, resourcefulness, and wisdom, that we need to achieve our own unique purpose in this life." "If we do not have a strong body, nor a strong mind, nor do we have much wealth in this life of ours, we should realise that God does not provide us with that, that is not required for us to fulfil our fully functioning achieved purpose for him in our life." "In other words, God does not give us that which is surplus to our needs, in the moment, of that need." "If he gave us way too much wealth, for example, instead of helping us achieve our purpose, it might more just distract, and waylay, us from actually moving forwards in achieving our purpose, or life mission, for God." "Our life purpose, and its various tasks, and duties, act as vessels through which God's love can flow into us, and into the greater world too." "Everything is within God's control, and yet, we must make an effort in our lives, as right effort, brings through the blessings of God upon all that we do, in our lives." "God entrusts us with the gifts that he gives us, and hopes that we will make full use of them in our living of our lives for him." The Rabbi smiled, and stopped talking. His lecture was ended for today. Photo Credit: The photo used in this article was sourced from the free media site, pixabay.com Right effort is transformative of our lives.

The rabbi is right since according to God's Word, we all are rich since God gave us talents to use for His purpose in assisting others in need. There are stories of rich persons who are not happy because in spite of their wealth, they do not find happiness being prisoners of their own fame.

Yes, even in the sports field, persons can become prisoners to sport, or in business, too attached to the business. We should take notice of our heart's urges, and follow them, rather than just running willy-nilly only after our minds wants, and desires, for worldly achievement, and satisfaction, from that type of achievement.

God gives us what we need to be happy and make it in the world. It is up to us to find that happiness.

Yes, if we are not happy with what God gives us, we will never be happy. It is up to us to be happy. "Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." A quote from Abraham Lincoln, a past American president.

We should approach our lives like a buffet in a restaurant. We should put in our plates what we can consume with an eye on whether there is enough for others too. And we do not face problems that we cannot overcome and that means we should not become greedy with a sense of self-entitlement. Our expectations should be according to our efforts and not with an eye on what others possess. After all, we leave behind all those we cling to as if our very lives depend on them. God looks after us as if it is his responsibility, so why not repay his incomparable love?

Well, it would be a pretty poor buffet, if it didn't have enough food there for everyone, and customers had to restrict themselves so that there was enough for others. But, I get your point, we should only take enough for ourselves, and not take a double share in life, which takes part of someone else's share too. I think that is what the billionaires are doing taking more than their share usually by foul means of one sort, or another too. When our eye is upon a profit, we take it off of the customer.

@innertalks "Behind Every Great Fortune There Is a Crime" comes to mind. . Greed tends to feed on itself, which is tempting and infectious to others. It is said nothing succeeds like success and wealth is touted as a badge of honor that the super-rich wears with pride. That type of society finds itself in a cesspool of division and jealousy.

Some people do not know what it is like to do a honest day's work and others are born 'with a silver spoon in their mouth'.. When everything is handed to us on a platter, we can never know that wonderful feeling of achievement.

Yes, those born with a silver spoon in their mouths, usually end up with a sour taste in their mouth too, as it is harder for them to find happiness that is genuine, and not just falsely obtained from possessions. We need to work, and do our bit in this world, to feel worthy of this gift of life, and be happy in the employ of our creator, doing his bidding in our lives.
