I had completed this Fiction Book a few months back. Its personal review has been on my cards since a good time. However, one or the other thing kept coming up. That's why it is delayed. Anyways, back to the book. 'The Lincoln Highway' is a story of two brothers and their two friends in the time only some years after the WWII. They are connected by circumstances. Each has a different socio-economic background & different struggles but they hop on together on a common journey. There are adventures, some misadventures and its all so exciting and gripping. The End is a bit of an anti-climax and not something that I liked. Yet, it could be a literary style of the author. Overall, a must read for both serious and not so serious book readers. @RebeccasFarm Well at times we like most parts of a book. Yet there is something that makes us differ from what the Author has to offer. It's a good and I would rather say, a must read one!

@DWDavis I normally read other genres of books, but in some ways this book has expanded my horizon. I do recommend reading this one.

@DWDavis Oh you have been doing greatly on the literary front. I did post a few fiction stories here and there. However, my literary sojourns have kind of stopped during the past 4.5 years due to various reasons!

It's disappointing if a book ends badly. Or at least it doesn't have a satisfying ending.

@JudyEv In this case, I suspect the author might want to write a Sequel and wants to keep audience puzzled. Or may be it's his style that makes him do so.

@JudyEv I think many authors these days bring out Trilogies or Multiple series. Some write with a movie story in mind.
