Valentine's dinner for K and me will be delivered via Grubhub shortly. We cannot go out to eat because of how late she gets home from work and how early we have to get up in the morning. We're having chicken parmesan. It is what we had on our first Valentine's together. It is what we've had on many of the Valentine's days since then. At her request, I didn't buy flowers this year. K asked for a new set of pajamas instead. I found two I thought she'd like and couldn't decide between them, so bought both. The material is very soft, and I think she'll like them. With Valentine's Day here and almost gone, we are 1/2 way through February already. There are 68 more school days and 117 total days until the end of the school year, not that I'm counting. Did you or are you doing anything special for Valentine's Day?

We got up this morning and went to Huddle House for breakfast and then went to Niceville and did a nature hike. I made orange chicken and rice for dinner.

I had some Insomnia Cookies sent to the other half at his workplace for a Valentine's Day surprise. He had to work that night, so our Valentine's Day celebrating had to wait until the 15th.

@spiderdust Thanks for the link. We often send cookies to our son in California. We'll check this site out next time we do.

@DWDavis It's a company similar to Crumbl Cookies where warm, freshly baked cookies can be delivered or purchased at the shop. While Crumbl has a huge cult following, I think Insomnia Cookies are better.

I hope she likes the pajamas you picked out for her. My husband bought me flowers. I wish he hadn’t bought me anything I hate when he wastes money on me.

My wife did love the pajamas. She thinks the patterns are really cute and the fabric feels quite comfortable.

I hope your meal lives up to expectations. Valentines was never around when we were young and it's never really taken on with us. But I hope you have a lovely day. And that K like the pyjamas.
