Utah firefighters rescue a cow stuck in snow

the firefighters who are employed by the South Summitt Fire Department answered a calll for help by a concerned person who saw a cow that wandered in a creek bed and fell into deep snow.
The incident happened on Saturday when the cow named Betsy had snow up to her neck as she must have fallen in a creek bed and she could not get out of her trap. which could have been fatal had help not been available.
The firefighters in South Summitt were able to use their equipment to get Betsy out of trouble and let get free into the area safe and sound.

The first time I have heard of cows being stuck in snow. I have heard of horses being stuck in mud but not in snow before.

I guess Betsy's owner no longer wanted the cat around the home due to financial trouble or the cat ran away from home.
