Not friends anymore but lovers

Valentine's Day Dinner
February is very memorable for us when my wife and I were lovers before.
I wrote my first friendly letter to her on 8th of February 1969. Thus we became fast friend. In a short period of time, we're no longer friends but lovers.
On 14th of February, we had a dinner treat at Jollibee, one of the fast foods here in our place. Though the evening rains kept on pouring unstoppable but they bothered us not.
Memories of the past keep our lovelife burning. It seems just yesterday that we're holding hands while going home after our high school classes in the afternoon.
However, last Sunday we revisited our Lover's tryst - the sturdy Mabolo tree on front of the City College. It's where I uttered the 3-meaningful words that bound us together later as husband and wife after 3 years of engagement.
In this love month, we are happy together.
