In the countryside the swan and geese are propagated.

In the countryside the swan and geese are not reared up for consumption. They are propagated and nurtured. Bird feed is given to them and rice also. They venture in the farmland but return to the owner's land by evening. They are nice and look pretty in the green background.

I have never heard of swan as food, although I have heard of Christmas goose.
