My candles got washed away....

I had an amazing bath. I love my bath at home but this one was so much deeper and just the thought of being by myself made me more mentally relaxed. I lit some candles. But like almost always, I fill the bath too high. So not long after getting in, I moved and the water went over the bath and washed away the candles. It was good while it lasted.... I feel like the bath helped me a lot with my back and neck pain. I still have a little bit of a headache. I am going to stay on MyLot for a little bit and put on some soft jazz. I haven't even had the TV on once. I don't really feel like it. I'm enjoying listening to nice music. I was actually dancing a little bit in my room as there was a wedding going on. The music was loud and the lights were shinning into my room so I had a little dance party. There was a nice song and I can never remember the singer or the name of the song but I think it's a song about a dad singing about his daughter regarding her wedding. "I loved her first." Or something but I was watching a bride dancing with, I assume her dad. Don't even know these people but I was crying. Just so sweet! Have you ever had any little mishaps happen to you while away in a hotel / resort etc? Do tell. Don't leave me here feeling bad about causing a flood in the bathroom. ****photo is mine....before the incident****

@Tina30219 That's good! Oh it's lovely! Not for everyone but it is a nice ambience. Very spa-like.

@Tina30219 I hope you can experience it one day if that's something you're interested in. I don't go to anything like that often at all. I save for quite some time just to go. It just gives me that time to myself.

Nothing like that, but I'd be to concerned about a fire. But.... Chilly somehow managed to pop off his collar this morning and George found it with his foot.

@kaylachan I can understand that. I'm extremely careful with candles. I always keep them away from anything. Oh my! I wonder how he popped it off!

You had floating candles . Glad you had a lovely bath and that it helped with some of the pain. And you had a musical time (music often helps my soul)! Well, our mishaps were more about things we did to ourselves. Hubby bought a nice suit for a wedding and kept it in one of those suit bags. After the wedding it was put back in the suit bag and hung up in our hotel closet. After the weekend we checked out and drove well over an hour out . . . and then Hubby realized he left his suit in the closet. It was bad traffic and took longer, but you bet we drove back to get that suit !

@much2say Pretty much! And thank you, it was SO good! oh no! Annoying when that happens! It can't be remembered while checking out or even 5 minutes when driving away. Had to be over an hour. Dang it! That's something you'll never forget I'm sure!

Oh wow, all those beautiful candles ruined. But oh well, like you said, it was nice while it lasted. Even without the candles I'm sure the bath was amazing. As crazy as I am in almost every aspect of my life, I don't think I have ever done anything bad in a hotel room or resort. At least not that I can remember anyway.

@VivaLaDani13 I mean, I’ve done some stuff in hotel rooms with women, but I don’t consider that “bad” by any means. Lol

@moffittjc 100%. It didn't affect the actual bath. Just the lighting. Well, that is surprising. Nah, that's good! Maybe in the future you can do something bad in a hotel.

I'm sorry you washed away the candles. No, no mishaps in a hotel room. No fire alarms. Nothing. I guess I lead a boring life when I go to a hotel, which I haven't done in many years.

@just4him It's all good. It made me laugh really. Oh no that doesn't make it boring at all! Means everything was perfect in that sense!

I might write about Vince's little mishap in a hotel when he was a young man. What a shame you snuffed out the candles but at least you had them for a little while.

@JudyEv oh I would love to read it if you ever post it! I am extremely curious now. Yeah it was a shame they were ruined. And they were literally ruined but it actually made me laugh. I was that relaxed and in peace that it didn't bother me at all.
