I Made It To Five Below.

Actually, I went to Five Below several hours ago, but I’m just getting around to posting on here again.
Okay, so I only picked up three things for myself. One of those things was a Cherry Vanilla Coke, so there’s no need to elaborate on a soda. I was thirsty and I needed the caffeine lol.
The first thing I got was a pair of black slip-on shoes. I bought a pair from Walmart a few years ago, but the shoes aren’t in great shape anymore, so it was time to move on. I don’t expect these to last forever for $5, but they’re good enough for now.
The other thing I got for myself is an undated planner. I have one that I’m currently using, but it’ll be coming to an end at some point in April. I plan to keep it because I have some goals written down, but I still need something to fill out. I know filling out planners isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s something I enjoy doing.
Anywho, the planner is pretty straightforward and simple. Every month has a blank calendar, weekly spreads, and a monthly reflection, and that’s it. I almost didn’t get it because it was so simple, but then I realized I wanted something simple. While I enjoy filling out all the sections of my current planner, it’s still a lot to do when I just wanna fill it out and go to bed. Sometimes, you just need to choose the simple option. Plus, it was $5, as opposed to the $8-$10 ones I was looking at on Amazon.
By the way, I snapped pictures of the pages, but the pictures came out blurry, and I’m too lazy to snap them again. Anyway, that’s what I bought for myself.
I didn’t snap any pictures, but my older sister and brother-in-law enjoy doing resin crafts. I’m not totally familiar with this type of craft, so you’ll have to Google it, sorry. I know they can make a bunch of stuff, such as bookmarks, little dishes, small jars, etc. They made me a tiny heart-shaped Kawaii-themed dish, but that’s another post for another day. Anywho, I decided to get them a kit for $5 that allows them to make two resin candle holders. It comes with reusable molds and just another resin mix for two candle holders, but they have plenty of their own resin to use with it as well. Sooo, that’s not bad for $5, and it made them happy. :)
And that’s my little shopping trip. I did receive my state tax refund, but I’m not planning to fully splurge this weekend. That was my little splurge.
Alrighty, I took a nap when we got home because I’ve been tired all day, so I’m a little behind on things. So, back to this writing order, I go. Take care, everyone.

Sounds like good purchases! I wish we had a Five Below here, at least in the town an hour away where I go shopping once a month or so.

We have cans of that soda here in the fridge. My husband bought it to go with his whisky.
I love seeing the things people make with resin.
