There is no age limit for learning swimming. / myLot

In many places these days the swimming pools are teaching swimming to different sections of the society. Men and women in the 40s are also coming to the training classes and learning swimming. If some one at any point falls in a lake or river may be the elementary knowledge of swimming can save the person. Besides swimming is a complete exercise. Right from breathing to hands and legs all parts of the body get a muscle functioning.

Yes, that's true... My family learned to swim when we were learning to walk. Our farm had two big ponds and a small river running through it. Our parents didn't want one of us to get away from them or an older sibling and drown... I remember helping teach some of my nieces and nephews to swim and, of course, I remember teaching Pretty to swim, too.

thanks DE my elder son and wife learned swimming from swimming pools. I learned swimming at the age of 6 years from swimming pool. In shallow pools no person drowns so they can learn swimming there

@sathviksouvik I taught Pretty to swim in a swimming pool. By the time she was born, my parents had sold our farm so no river to teach her to swim in. I worked at a hotel with a swimming pool and the owner let us swim any time we wanted. I taught her there.
