Snow on East Foothills, visible from Almaden Lake Park

I took this image at Almaden Lake Park on the hill trail. This park is in the Almaden Valley in San Jose. You can see the lake partly hidden by branches.As you can see, the hills were covered with snow, as it snowed there the day before. The snow came to very low elevations all over the valley, including the Santa Cruz Mountains. Mount Umunhum had snow, as did Mount Hamilton. The Santa Cruz Mountains had snow going down much of the range, and could probably be seen from Caltrain. It is a beautiful sight.

My sister flew home from Utah and saw snow all over before they landed.

I am sure it is. I like seeing snow from a distance. But, I don't want to be in it.

@Aquitaine24 Nope. I think my joints would lock up if it were cold enough to snow long enough to create one.
