Kangaroo!

For how little our local zoo is I am always surprised by how many animals they have, and for the last year or so they have been upgrading/updating and expanding. There were several new animals that they didn't have the last time we visited. One of our favorite exhibits/animals is the kangaroos. A couple years ago when we had she child's birthday there, her and one of her little friends did the kangaroo encounter. They got to feed two of the kangaroos bottles. It was super cute, and I will have to see if I can dig up the pictures. They are somewhere buried on Facebook. Anyway I was talking to @JudyEv in another discussion and told her I would share one of the pictures from our visit with the 'roos yesterday. So here it is. They are super cute! And at least a dozen kangaroos are at the zoo, both the "regular" and albino ones.

Thanks for the photo. That is a 'red' kangaroo and the largest of all the varieties. The little ones are very cute as babies.

That is a nice treat for youngsters, but not sure I'd like to get too close to a kangaroo!

It's wonderful to hear about your local zoo's surprising variety of animals and their continuous efforts to upgrade and expand. The addition of new animals creates an exciting experience for visitors, and it's great to know that the kangaroo exhibit holds a special place in your heart.
