Firefighters rescue a dog that fell down a storm drain in Georgia

An owner a female dog named Trixie is grateful that the firefighters from Cobb County in Georgia came to the rescue of his dog who fell down a 12 foot storm drain on Monday.
One Cobb County firefighter used a pulley and an air monitoring device was used to get the firefighter to go down the drain and rescue the dog safe and sound.
After Trixie was rescued by the firefighter, Trixie was then taken to a local hospital where she was checked by the veterinarian. The dog was shaken up but she is in good health to return to her owner.

I would like to know myself where the owners of the dogs are at when their dogs fall into the storm drains myself.

@RubyHawk It is impossible for any dog to get out of a drainage ditch without getting help from a rescue team member assisting them.

When I read the story, I was hoping that the dog would be okay after the incident. Thank goodness Trixie is okay.
