Meaningful Conversation!

I was with old friends last night who just recovered from a serious breakup. We talked many times in the past but last night was the most meaningful one. I just realized that the reason why they became more open and comfortable in sharing their experiences with their exes may be because they have completely moved on. I had fun listening to their stories, especially the learnings from their stories. Good evening everyone! it's Thursday, one more day before my day off!

I believe that by sharing those depressing experiences, individuals might release some of the tension they are experiencing. Telling someone who will listen to you and empathize with you is, in my opinion, one way to let go. So, it actually contributes to healing or moving on. Every narrative you try to hide will only make your life more difficult, but if you have a way to express it, you feel better, especially if your audience supports you.

That's true, they felt too that sharing is part of moving on and closure of their past. I discovered a lot about my friend after they shared their experiences- the struggles and how they sacrifice their own happiness for the relationship. I realized that love is so powerful - it could break or make you.

Agreed. Surely, they are looking for friends to release the heaviness they carry from their shoulder.

Yes and I'm so proud and happy for them. It takes so much courage to get out of a long-term relationship and start a brand new life without a partner.

When a story ends we are still suffering the effect. After a while we are more relaxed talking openly of what happened.

It's heartwarming to hear that your friends have recovered from a serious breakup and are now more open and comfortable in sharing their experiences. It's true that time heals all wounds and moving on from a past relationship is a sign of growth and maturity. It's great that you were able to lend an ear and provide support to your friends. Listening to their stories and learning from their experiences can help us navigate our own relationships and avoid making the same mistakes. Have a great day off!

Really hard when one relationship fell especially when one gives his/her full trust to that relationship and gives their all. Surely, it is hard to move on from that. Glad your friends recover from it.

Yes, it was not a quick recovery. it took a year to completely moved on from the past. I was teary-eyed while listening to their stories that night because I couldn't believe that they have sacrificed that much for very long years in that relationship and they don't deserve it.

When we open up even if a person will not provide any support, but just listening to us is so therapeutic and is a step towards recovering from damage
