Water or electricity

Kenya

We have different priorities in life and what is number one to you can be number 10 in my list. With the internet and social media being the order of the day, a certain question was raised by a local radio station . Between water and electricity what would you stay without for 24 hours . Shockingly, many said they can't stay without electricity since they need internet. In your opinion, what matters to you ? And would not stay for 24 hours without having it?

Of course, electricity is important. I know about it because after the earthquake we had in February 2010 here, I did not have electricity for 3 days. But while electricity is important, water is essential. We die without it. All the rest are not as important.

@Laurakemunto Exactly. I have a shock every time I remember that not everyone in the world has enough clear water.

I'd opt to have water. You can't go too long without water.

I'd rather not have electricity. Its harder to move around the house doing chores without running water - cooking, washing dishes, laundry, cleaning, when you have to wash your hands, use the restroom, shower or take a bath so on and so forth. Even if you have saved waters in containers still its hard work and would eventually ran out.
