I would call whose gender was not mentioned who managed to crawl inside of the engine compartment of its owner on Sunday and survived traveling seven miles from the owner of its home in Modesto west side to the east side of the city near the rodeo grounds. The owner of the cat whose name was not mentioned contacted the Modesto Fire Department to inform them that the owner of the cat heard meowing from inside the engine. Modesto Fire department Deputy Chief Darin Jesberg mentioned that after the firefighters were able to rescue the cat had the paw caught in the transmission line. The firefighters were able to free the cat and reunite it with its owner who is very appreciative of the actions of the firefighters who saved the cat who does not have a name. If I owned the cat, I would name it Lucky.. Link is modbee.com/news/local/oak...

I’m glad the cat wasn’t hurt badly. Lucky would be a good name for him.

@RubyHawk I believe that the cat had a guardian angel watching over the animal.

Lucky cat. I had that happen years ago. We visited my sister and her family and when we got home we heard a cat. So we started checking around and he was under the hood of the car. They lived about 50 miles away from us. It was hilarious but scary.

Those kinds of stories of cats being trapped under a hood of a car are scary.

That what I was thinking that the cat would have been killed inside of the engine compartment due to the heat inside or being hit by a motor blades.

Yikes! I've heard of that happening, but the results weren't as good.

I think Lucky would be a really good name for the cat.

That is true since a lot of animals are named Lucky after being rescued by a firefighter from inside a car engine.

Lucky would certainly be a good name for the cat. I wonder why the owner hasn't given it a name,
